The start of the summer has began and I love it!! Sunny weather (well, hopefully that will get better here in TN), pool time, play dates, vacations, and family time. Love the start of summer. Kaylor has already been in the pool three times this summer and she is LOVING it. She never wants to get out and she will just walk right in to the pool if we let her. Here are some recent pictures including some pictures that Josh took about a month and half ago for her 12 month shoot.

Shooting Some Hoops

The Christmas before Kaylor was born she already had the biggest present under the tree. Kaylor's cousins gave her an indoor basketball goal. Of course we hoped she would like it, but you never know. Well we set the goal up about a week ago and it is very tall! Its actually for like 2-3 year olds. So what did we do with it? Box it back up?? Nah, Kerry and I left it up in our living room and have played a game of horse on it everyday. I mean some good horse games too! We decided to play when Kaylor was taking a nap the other day and we learned our competitiveness and a hard wood floor is not the quietest thing. Kaylor woke up immediately and we had to make the rule to only play when she was awake!

Anyways, we got a smaller goal that she can reach and she loves it!! She'll say "shoot" and go get her ball and shoot (lay) the ball in to the basket. We do know one thing, if basketball is not her thing, her parents will have fun playing on her basketball goals :)

Here is Kaylor opening her drawers to pull EVERYTHING out. (Including drawers in the kitchen.) I really lose my patience after she does this over and over again. I can't tell you how many times I re-fold her clothes to put back in her drawers and pick up utensils around the kitchen.
